Johnson's Building Supply was formed in 1980 due to the local and regional demand for building materials, from both construction trades and retail customers. Our supply division has grown to be one of the largest independent builder merchants in Southeast Alaska .

Our building supply division operates from a 9,600 square foot showroom, warehouse and office building and a 30,000 square foot storage and lumber yard. Through our network of manufacturers and wholesalers, we stock a diverse line of building supplies and equipment for all types of construction projects ranging from home renovations to commercial construction. We also handle commercial and residential building packages, and we routinely provide special orders to the most remote locations throughout the State of Alaska .
